Our tennis academies are rare opportunities for children from low-income backgrounds that engage them in an organized sport. Unique in its dedication not only to present circumstances, but to future hopes, Take a Swing encourages the development of valuable life skills, as well as athletic skills. These life skills will hopefully accompany the children of Take a Swing through their childhoods, through their teenage years, and through their adult careers.

Solely youth led and organized, Take a Swing also represents a unique chance for high school students and athletes to become officially certified as a tennis coach, share their skills, interact with peers, and act as mentors.
